Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are among a host of clubs monitoring the eye-catching progress of the Denmark Under-19s striker, Emre Mor, who is expected to depart Nordsjaelland in January.
Mor, who was initially schooled in the junior ranks at Lyngby BK, joined the academy at the Farum club in January but only signed a part-time contract meaning he is effectively available now at a cut-price compensation fee. The 18-year-old has impressed in the youth team at Nordsjaelland, establishing himself as one of the most sought-after talents in Europe with Ajax and Borussia Dortmund having also tracked his development closely.
Scouts from across the continent, and the Premier League elite in particular, have been in contact with the player’s representatives, FTC, and will be in attendance in Malta this week as Mor features for Denmark in Uefa’s European Under-19s qualifying round.
The Danes play Iceland in Paola tomorrow, then Malta and Israel before the weekend with Mor expected to feature. The striker already boasts two goals from as many caps at that level having previously featured for the Under-17s and -18s.
